Oil Rig Painters work at high altitudes so it is important to be able to deal with heights.  The job involves painting all aspects of the rig and putting up scaffolding.  The painter will report to the Barge Supervisor and may have an assistant or will work with the roustabouts.

The painter can expect a salary in the region of $57,000 and this is also considered to be an entry level position.

Requirements for this position.

•    The ability to work at heights
•    Knowledge of scaffolding construction
•    Good hand to eye co-ordination
